How It Works

CurioBeat ranking, in plain language

CurioBeat collects items from multiple public sources, normalizes them into a shared format, and ranks them into a compact list designed for fast scanning.

Ranking (simplified)

1. Ingest items from sources (RSS/API/HTML).

2. Normalize titles and de-duplicate near-identical stories.

3. Score each topic using a weighted mix of rank, mentions, and source reliability.

4. Publish Top 50 and generate topic pages for the archive.

Limits

CurioBeat highlights attention signals, not verified facts. Sources can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. Use the “Open source” links to verify before sharing.
